Whodean...blu ray content averages 25-50 GB per disc. Bandwidth isn't there yet for the ability to stream HD. So yes, you are either watching from disc or viewing from ripped ISO
Looking at either an Ipad2, droid tablet, or laptop. Mostly surfing and e-mail. Looking at wireless, not 3-g. Concerned about lack of flash and connectivity with Ipad, battery life w/ droid pad, battery life and size with laptop. Anyone on here have their own experiences?

I bought a Xoom tablet recently (wanted Flash). I returned it the next day after finding I still couldn't play my favorite Flash game. :( The iPad is really nice, but again, couldn't do what I wanted. I settled for keeping my old laptop around and mostly use my Android phone for everything.
Let's not forget that before "tablets" were all the rage there were, well, tablets. While most tablet PCs were -- and still are -- aimed at the business market, the HP TouchSmart tm2 (which began as the tx2000) was one of the first tablets for the average Joe. And despite rumors of a slate product and future WebOS devices, HP hasn't given up on the tm2, and rightfully so. Just updated with a brand new Core i3 ULV processor, the convertible has a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, a new TouchSmart layer for laptops, an onboard stylus for taking notes, and a striking design with a rather stellar chiclet keyboard. There's no doubt the form factor still appeals to students or those simply looking for the power of a PC with a touch experience, but we wish HP paid a bit more attention to a few key features before shipping. Find out just what those are in our full review. %Gallery-96332%
It's not as slim or light as a tablet, but I was looking for a complete pc that had a touchscreen. I've been really happy with it so far.
I hate all things Apple but my wifes company IT geek loves the stuff for staff that need to access from home.
So with that said, the Mrs. is getting a company issued iPad2 (she has it at work but it is getting company software access added to it right now) and we will have it in hand for our road trip to Yosemite at the end of the month.
Should be good for storing extensive photos I will be gathering up.
Love my transformer. Latest honeycomb awesome battery life (second only to the ipad2) and a keyboard attachment to basically turn into netbook lite with 16+ hour battery life. Flash works great and its pretty quick. Nothing beats widgets either.
