  • Update re gamepass on iPad/iPhone from NFLUK - There are screen shots on the link too

"Launch for these apps is targeted in time for regular season kickoff. Actual launch date is coming soon, will let everyone know on this thread. The apps will not be available during preseason.

The NFL Game Pass app for Android and iOS will be FREE to download. However, an NFL Game Pass subscription is required to watch games, shows and access the various features.

    The apps will include:
    • 2011 Regular Season games, live and on-demand
    • NFL Network live stream and select archived programming
The apps will NOT include 2009 or 2010 games, unfortunately.

Note, the designs may not represent all the features available at launch, these are preliminary designs. Update on the available features will be coming soon.

You can subscribe via NFL.com/GamePass or purchase the subscription within the app directly. If purchasing in-app, you will need to register w/ NFL.com (within the app) in order to access Game Pass on your PC. More details on this coming soon as well.

But in a nutshell, the NFL Game Pass app will be a stand-alone FREE app this year, different from last year where Game Pass was offered through the NFL 2010 Game Center app.

Sit tight, more information coming soon, will share as soon as I'm able to.

[Disclaimer: a reminder that NFL RedZone is not available in the UK on these devices as well, though the designs show button options for NFL RedZone. Game Pass mobile and tablet apps are not available in Canada.]"

      • My monitor is not functional on my home computer. The on/ off button constantly blinks as opossed to being a solid green and there's no picture. I'm thinking it's a computer issue rather than a monitor issue. Just what I need. Something else to blow money on. CHRIST I'll be glad when this court issue is settled. Friggen attorney's.

        • Do you have a way to hook up something else to the monitor to check, DanO?

          • Ya my son has a computer and I plan on doing that but I don't think it's the monitor. Hope I'm wrong. I'm at work right now.

            • Hey DanO......, a friend of a friend recently got a nice new computer during the London riots....., but it's not working. He's seriously thinking of going back and asking for his brick back.

Yeah, a monitor wouldn't be bad...could always just be the cable too, you never know.

                  • Didn't consider the cable. I did unplug it and plug it back in though.

                    • Having issues with my external drive again...thinking about moving everything over to online storage. **The Cloud** Anybody here have experience doing that? Just wondering what I'm looking at expense-wise.

                      • Mason - there are several online services available. Dropbox is one, and there are several others. Most will give you 1 or 2 GB of space free, more than that you have to pay for. Opinions vary - I myself am leery about putting my personal info "in the cloud" even though it's password protected.

                          • Storing photos and music though? I'm sick of moving them around every couple years because my external drive starts acting goofy.
