Thanks Coop. I did a dl, ran it for the F of it and it found 8 non-serious files.
Gone now.
I can never scrub this thing too much and I do as often as I can.

Video File Conversions
I need help from someone (in more ways than one but we won't go there) converting video files.
Here is the deal:
Years back I had a Kodak camera (can't remember the model) that also took video and the video files and the were saved as .MPG files. Since then I have upgraded to Sony handy-cam HC9. The files are saved as .AVI if I am not mistaken. I have loaded up the associated software for the Sony camera (Picture Motion Browser) and I like the program as I can select which folders for it to look at and it put all pictures and videos in said folder into chronological order. With this software I can make picture CDs and video DVD and what not. Here is the rub though. I can view any of the .MPG video via this software but can not burn it to a DVD as it says it is not a supported format. Is there a way to convert it to say a .AVI format? I have messed around w/ some different free converters I have found online to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Vegas

I use media-convert.
I don't think I downloaded anything to get it to work. You just have to upload it to the website, give it some time, and it will tell you when it's done. If there are a lot of people using it, there's a function of the site that will email the converted file to you.
Be patient as you try to learn how to use it. You may want to try smaller files first.Last edited by Drew; May 28, 2010, 08:13 PM.------------

I have both CCleaner and Malwarebytes now downloaded. Ran them both a couple times and it speeded up the computer quite a bit but I think there are still other issues with it.
GO LIONS "10" !!!!!!!!!!!GO LIONS "24" !!

If so what are the pros/cons of it and is it worth the money to get it since I do not do that much video editing, but that may be due to the poor software I currently have.
Thanks!

Vegasz71,
I use a free piece of software called Super ? made by a company called erightsoft. It will transcode a variety of video formats and has worked well for me. You do have to have some experience with understanding video transcoding, but other than that it's fairly easy to use. I use it to transcode dvd .vob files to h.264 format for my iphone.
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html - the download link is a bit tricky to get, but you'll find it.
PM me or post back here with questions.Got Kneecaps?
