Well, I was more referring to any potential contract the Vikings would have offered at the end of Week 17... but you are right.
A lot of the plays that are just misses, like the pass to Addison were complete during the regular season. Darnold could throw it up and Jefferson of Addison would go up and get it. They are really talented.
Darnold is missing those tonight.

He sits back there for what seems like 15 seconds and doesn’t even throw the ball away. Even thinking about a 4th down play gets wiped away with a sack like that.
