The Vikings 4th down play was a terrible design. All the receivers went long and there was no check down. How the hell do you design a play like that and call it on 4th and short?

Yeah this could be the case, but that stuff never comes if you don't empower the quarterback to do it The knock on Darnold is the exact same knock that Goff had coming to the Lions.

It seems like this for every pass play Darnold gets sacked on. Nobody is open and there is no check down, same thing happened against the Lions. It looks like the Rams saw last week's game tape and said, "I will have what they had."
