Whatever aggression Sean Payton had that he taught to Dan Campbell has evaporated. Down three with 9:55 to go at his the 50 yard line he punts on 4th and 8. Down three at his 49 yard line with 4:35 left he punts on 4th and 6.
After the second punt the Chargers marched down the field quickly to put the game up 10 and out of reach.
The Broncos turtled after the Chargers converted on the fair catch punt. I always keep an eye out for those conditions. It has to be a perfect for these teams to try it. The personal foul made it a 57 yard chip shot.
Before the second cowardly punt the Broncos had received the ball on a fair catch on their own 45. I said that they were better off trying to get their own fair catch field goal. As it turns out, that was correct. A 65 yard free kick would have been better than that terrible 3 and out drive.

Calais Campbell might get released when the Dolphins get eliminated from the playoffs. If that happens, he has to go through waivers and with the Lions near the bottom of the list, hard to see him making it to them. Ravens seem like a logical landing spot.
This weeks NFL schedule is nuts....Games on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday....and out of all thos days I probably watch the Lions on Sunday and that is it

You need to get your priorities straight.

Yeah, I mean, if you’re going to lean in a curse, lean all the way in.
If Lions fans are being teased by a vengeful god, then Goff goes down late against the 49ers with the game already won. Hooker lights up the Vikings to clinch the bye but goes down with a non-contact injury. After two weeks of serious dooming, State Farm throws four picks and the Packers advance.
Yeah. Lean all the frickin’ way in.

And their kicker misses the PAT. Stinking Chiefs get all the breaks
Remember that he missed a very long 50+ yard FG attempt in the Lions at Texans game, which helped set up our game winning kick at the end of the Lions at Texans game, so he helped out both the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Don't be throwing the cold water of logic on my pity party here.
