I can safely say that the Lions performed better in a torrential downpour than either of these teams have in this controlled climate.

    • Just run the ball. Why throw on 3rd and 2 and then again on 4th and 2. Why run away from what was working? I can see why the Colts are 4-4. They deserve to lose

      • Ballgame. Can’t wait for the Lions to blowout these Colts in a few weeks

        • No help from the Colts tonight. Damn.

Oh well. Lions will take care of business come Week 17 if the Vikings are still hanging around by then.

Not worried about Minnesota tbh. I’m fairly confident we will sweep them because we already solved how to best them and I feel we have more than they do. Houston is very beatable. We already beaten the Packers to take control of the NFC North with an opportunity to whoop up on some inferior teams these next few weeks. We just got to handle our business

              • I don't think Minnesota is solvable, it's one of the hardest matchups for the Lions. The Lions should beat them, but every game with them is a shootout. The Lions are better but the Vikes have the best receiver with several other good ones, a good running game and a quarterback that can get the ball to them. They have a decent defense as well. If you made a list of teams that match up with the Lions where they could beat them without a bunch of turnovers, Minnesota would be on that list.

I'm not cheering for division rivals to lose. I want them to keep winning. I want Detroit to win the best division in baseball ever. Just keep beating their asses Lions.
                  GO LIONS "24" !!

                  • Wow the NFC West standings. Good luck figuring that one out.

I will go ahead and say it’s the best trade in sports history IF the Lions win a Super Bowl. The sports history junkies will have to point out better trades because I’m not aware of the contenders without digging into it. Hypothetically both ends of a trade directly leading to a championship.

It’s already one of the greatest in NFL history because the Rams won the 2021 Super Bowl. The Lions Goff + draft picks part of trade ended the Lions drought. Resulting in arguably the best team in 2024 that could win a championship if things go to plan. Always be mindful of the history of the Lions franchise and how embarrassing they were prior to Campbell turning it around in mid-2022.

I was thinking the same thing a little earlier today. That's up there with the best trade ever. I think it is. Another thing I was thinking about is the 23' draft. Four starters. Not just four everyday starters, four Pro Bowl players. You watch the press conferences with the players and coaches and they are always thanking each other. This is a team people. To a person, they will run through a wall for Campbell and the rest of their teammates.

                      • Travis Kelce very rarely fumbles but when he fumbled there he just looked so washed. Hollywood is clearly calling for this man and he looks done

                              • The Cleveland Brown situation where they acquired Watson when they already had Mayfield looks so weird in retrospect. Mayfield was beloved in that locker room and he was coming off a year where he gutted out starts where he really should have been sat dur to the shoulder injury. Always remember people want to players to play hurt, but when they play hurt but they aren't very good because of it, those same people will throw the player under the bus.
