I’m always leery of QBs that come from powerhouse schools. When all of the surrounding talent is top tier and you’re facing lesser talent, it’s not a true representation of what they’ll see in the NFL.

It's hard to be bullish on the Bengals playoff chances when they haven't played a divisional game yet. Their schedule is not that tough but they've already lost to the Patriots and the Commanders. Their saving grace is the 7th seed should be up for grabs. There are a lot of cross offs in the AFC

Right now, the Bungles are asking Joe Burrow to carry the offense similar to Josh Allen in Buffalo (it's not quite the same because Burrow has a few more weapons on offense)... but without the defensive support Josh Allen has in Buffalo. If you're giving up 38 points at home when you're already 0-2, that's not a very good sign.
Their saving grace is that I'm not sure the AFC North is all that right now. Pittsburgh feels like a paper tiger. At some point, Fields is gonna Fields (or Wilson is gonna Wilson), and that defense isn't going to be able to carry them over the hump. Baltimore is kinda in the same place Cinci is. And Cleveland is... well... Cleveland.

Steelers have the luxury to just use Fields in a limited way and ask him to just not fuck up majorly. The Bears needed him to be the franchise savior (or wanted him to be) given draft position and the capital they gave up to get him (not to mention the weight of all those Bears QB failures).

I also think that down the road he is going to be one of the better qbs in the league
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

I think whatever trajectory he’s on might be a long one. He’d be smart to stick with the Steelers because they tend to be one of the most patient franchises out there.
