I'd argue being the Raiders cost them the ball game. Winning in Arrowhead was going to be a heavy lift. When it comes to 50/50 calls, I tend to be a bit more lenient on coaches, and this was pretty much a 50/50 call. Tying the game with four minutes left doesn't mean THAT much, especially since the Raiders still had a shot to win it at the end.Originally posted by CGVT View PostComment

Its all hypothetical but failing to get the two there gave them a chance to get the ball back. The Chiefs couldn't run out the clock. I have little doubt the Chiefs answer to win in a tie or down one scenario. I don't think the time left was an enviable position for the Raiders in any scenario.Comment

Perhaps, but as I rewind through that game, it doesn't really look to me like the Chiefs were particularly playing "clock control" either, at least not in any way your typical team considers "clock control." Maybe it is to them.Comment
