Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

    • TBH, it doesn't help if he had previous head injuries, but if you get rag dolled and dish ragged on your head like that...

I had to turn it off after that. That was one of the most brutal injuries I've ever seen in football. I know some will say some compound (sticking out of the leg) bone injuries are brutal, but dude's hands seemed to be controlled by a puppet master. Dammit
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

        • It was terrible. Reminded me why I went on the inj/illness prevention side. Not the medical side. Although my bank acct would be better

          • I’ve seen more brutal but he should not have been playing.
anybody watching in the 70’s would remember the vicious hits.
Probably the worst one visually to a QB was when Bradshaw was picked up and slammed literally on his head. His neck working like a shock absorber.
when you watch old Lion vids, their was one where Charlie Sanders was laying just outside the end zone and the game just kept going on as like he didn’t even exist.

            • The hit that knocked Tua out of last nights game didn't look bad at all....Looked like an every day tackle...that makes me think he was never healthy entering the game to begin with.

I think we know two things from last nights game:
                a) Tua shouldn't see the field for the rest of this year.
                b) More than likely someone is going to get sued for a metric shit-ton of money in the coming years.

Last player I saw with a concussion like that was Jahvid Best, and he essentially fell from a 2nd story window on the play he got hurt.

Yep, I saw that play (Bradshaw). Turkey Jones, and I thought for sure Bradshaw's career (and maybe even life) was over at that point.
That was "getting Suh'd" before Suh was even born.
For those that didn't see it, at the moment of contact with the ground, Bradshaw's ass was pointing to the sun.....

                  • Lewis Cine carted off for the Vikings. Ouch.
Cine was drafted with the 32nd pick involved in the Jameson Williams trade.

Before the pick was traded, I think he was on our radar
