It's too bad, cuz they got the ball back. That momentum of pulling even might have helped.
Or perhaps the Chiefs play the game differently if it was even. Momentum is a fickle thing, and in this case is arguably not particularly meaningful. If the Raiders weren't fired up by that point, an extra point wasn't going to light that fire either.
I don't know enough about the Raiders to make that decision, or what state they were in late in the game. All I'll say is that going for two in that situation is a perfectly defensible position that is largely supported by the analytics.
