Well I feel like these teams gotta keep playing defense, this is fun to watch but there has been zero defense.
Nowadays, you aren't an NFL QB if you're under 60%, and teams can go the full length of the field in 30 seconds.
At this point, the odds of getting beat deep with your base defense would probably be considerably lower then getting gouged for 20-yard chunks in these end of game situations.

The Bills win this year's Lion's Defense Award by allowing Mahones drive into field goal range from his own 25 in 13 seconds to push the game into OT and the eventual win.I don't watch Fox News for the same reason I don't eat out of a toilet.

Hell, playing prevent and making the Bucs take that extra bit of time probably means Stafford doesn't have time for HIS end of game heroics on the Bucs soft zone.

The previous drives both teams were playing Soft Dime and/or Quarters zone, which is so practically close to a Prevent Defense to the extent that both teams were using it that it makes no real difference. It's all about denying the deep ball and the sidelines. Problem is, that doesn't work any more, as has been repeatedly demonstrated.
