You are both missing the bigger point I'm trying to make. I'm simply saying that their focus in the draft should be primarily on putting together a defense that can put more pressure on the QB.That seems to be lost on you both.

What's lost on you is any pass rushing edge with a pulse gets taken long before their draft position. So they have to take chances on guys like Marcus Davenport and Za'Darius Smith. I want them to take an defensive end in the top ten of the draft as well

They got pressure and were a top 5 defense and then literally 20 players on defense went to the IR.

I think it's nice that the Eagles let the Chiefs make the score look semi-respectable.

The only reason the Eagles didn’t make the Superbowl last season starting out literally 10-0 was due to injuries. The Lions suffered a similar fate this year but made it farther than that Eagles team did.

Don’t forget Matt Patricia was on their sidelines.

It was even more than injuries, they were some behind the scenes fights that tore the team apart that nobody wants to talk about but is referenced a lot.

The Chiefs ran out of juice. People can have all the debates on defensive lines all they want but you can look at it another way, this was a referendum on the offensive lines. The Chiefs offensive line was trash in the way the Vikings line was trash against the Lions. The Chiefs offensive line depth was horrid and they had to play Tuney out of position. That Mahomes game was as bad as any bad Goff game.
