  • That's not on the receiver. The ball got there too soon.

    • The Rams are very fortunate. Any moderately good offense would have beaten them tonight.

      • If the Rams have to play Green Bay in the first round they are in trouble.

Rams are getting hot but I wouldn’t say I’m afraid of them but they do have a solid front of 1st and 2nd year guys

The Ringer consistently ranks Murray above Goff, lol

I mean, his ability to scramble around the field after he's done a poor job of reading the defense because he can't see it is among the best in the game.

            • So, your offense sees their first action from your opponent's 39.

You have an MVP candidate running back behind you, and your starting QB is out with a concussion, leaving you with a tiny handed interception machine behind center.

              What do you do?

Well, obviously, you run three passing plays!

                • Looks like Hurts matters more to the Eagles than Barkley. Yeah Barkley a beast but they ain’t quite the same on offense without Hurts as QB.

The big problem is that by Week 16,17, and 18, most of these games involve teams that really don't have much (if anything) to play for, and it shows.

Dallas is trying to play spoiler but they really can’t spoil anything because Philly will have the 2nd seed no matter what but I guess trying to stick it to a division rival will always be fun to do

                      • Green Bay at Minnesota is the only game that matters to me today, and then our game tomorrow vs. the 49ers as far as this week's slate of games mattering for right now.

I honestly think that is why the NFL started tapping divisional games to dominate the late of the season; the hope that even lacking anything to play for the divisional spite will bring out the best of the teams involved.

                          • I guess Indy just won't have to worry about winning next week since they're crapping the bed in the Meadowlands and losing by 11 to the NY Giants 14-3, at the moment.

There have been exceptions to the Divisional only format.

Back in the 1997 regular season, the last week of the year had the New York Jets at the Detroit Lions. The winner would clinch a Playoff spot, and the loser would go home.

I was at that game, which was the game Barry Sanders willed the team to victory over the Jets, and Mr. Sanders went over 2000 rushing yards in that game.

Now that’s funny and the Colts actually have a chance to make the playoffs if they win out and get some help
