2023 Lions’ greatest foe in the 49ers are toast this season. Apparently the 2nd greatest odds to win the Super Bowl at +620. I had no idea they were ahead of the Lions entering the season. My perception this entire time was the Lions lapped them based on the offseason. But sure, the 49ers received benefit of the doubt based on the last 5 seasons and their top heavy roster got to them with injuries.

That #1 seed is even more valuable due to the surging Rams IMO. Make the #2 seed Eagles and potential #3 seed Rams fight each other. Seahawks are currently ahead of the Rams, but look at the schedule. Also, with how Stafford played against the Lions week 1 with a fully healthy Lions defense… another Lions vs Rams rematch would be a nervous one.
