They just did, but 'Any Given Sunday' is the rule for NFL.

I don't think the Jets are one of the worst teams in the league, I just don't see a Superbowl contending team. They have players, it isn't like they are bereft of talent, they are rudderless. That's what happens when you let a fading Hall of Fame quarterback determine the direction of your team. But in the NFL, you can get to 9-8 with a talented rudderless team. Or it might get you 5 wins.

The Texans missed one field goal in one drive. They had another drive where they kicked a field goal, got a penalty to get themselves the first down, didn't get the touchdown and then missed the chip shot field goal.

CJ Stroud is a promising young quarterback, but he showed some worrying signs with bad footwork in the pocket. When trouble comes in the pocket his go to move is to turn his back and run out of the pocket. A lot of times against man coverage, it's fine because he is athletic enough to scramble and get a first down. Other times it can lead into a sack because he doesn't climb the ladder up in the pocket with his eyes down field. He's young so he can grow out of it, but he had a bad game tonight.
