9 point game with 4:20 left. Vikings might have had to consider going for it on 4th & 21 … Different situation in a one possession vs two possession game. Taking into account the unlikelihood of recovering an onside kick in the NFL nowadays.

It must be noted that McVay is not the analytic type coach. He is pretty conservative on 4th down and is terrible on keeping his timeouts.
