Patriots kicker has a hell of a leg. 63 yards and could have probably hit at least 65.

Wow, Mahomes took out Rice’s knee on a hit. His best WR since Tyreek Hill. That hurts.
HARBAUGH conquered USC, the Seahawks, and Ohio State at previous jobs. An opportunity to make a statement early on vs the Chiefs and their dynasty.
Jayden Daniels looks so damned good early on in his career. Though every new QB faces a time down the road when NFL defenses have enough tape to adjust. Will be interesting to see what happens as he’s the most impressive rookie QB so far. Washington impressively 3-1 this season.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Lions opponents this season after they play the Lions:
- Rams week 2. Rams 10, Cardinals 41.
- Bucs week 3. Broncos 26, Bucs 7.
- Cardinals week 4. Commanders 42, Cardinals 14
Coincidence or are teams getting worn down vs the Lions? Too much energy spent in a gritty battle vs the Lions. Similar to the 49ers theory in recent years.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Malik Willis 2-0.
Jordan Love 0-2.
NFL hardly makes sense half of the time. Except for elite QBs and winning. That’s close to a constant as you can get. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes nowadays. Elite QB play can help elevate holes on a roster.

I think we're getting the best shot from opponents, so they also have a let-down the following week -- in addition to the physical nature of our game.

Vikings actually look legit unlike the 2022 version that lucked out in most of their games. I know the Packers technically got back in the game, but it felt like the Vikings were in control. Add in two other blowout wins and a win vs the 49ers… Kevin O’Connell + Brian Flores is a quality coaching combo. Spooky Sam Darnold in this competent coaching situation.
