The offense is better, but not by much over San Fran's. What we're seeing is how well the Chiefs have reinvented themselves into a defense-first team.
The difference is that the Niners are such a balanced team that they win in pretty much any way they have to. They can win a First-to-Thirty shootout, then two weeks later play a cloud-of-dust defensive battle. The Lions simply can't reliably win this sort of game against this sort of defensive effort. They kinda have to turn every game into a shootout.
It would probably be 10-10 right now if it was Lions/Chiefs.
Meanwhile, Ravens fans are no doubt wondering how the hell they lost two weeks ago.
This is our punishment for being Lion fans, watching two teams stepping on their dicks in a Superbowl the Lions should be at. This looks like a AFC North matchup.

I definitely don’t see the Ravens making it back. It’s tough making it to the AFC Championship game with all the loaded talent in that conference.
