I think no small part of the problem is by the time Goff sees JaMo open, JaMo has already outrun Goff's arm. The dude's speed is just unreal. Goff himself acknowledged that he has to learn to get the ball out there sooner than he likes and trust that Williams will make the catch, and it's clear Goff doesn't like doing that.
I mean, it took Goff most of the season to really start trusting Chark. It doesn't surprise me he's just as wary with Jameson Williams, especially considering how JaMo struggled with his hands early on.
