The Bears fans I know and others on social media are super thrilled about the Texans debacle. The idea is indeed to trade down for a Bryce Young deal… for now. Either way, the draft position luck for them is a win. Colts fans think they can trade up for Young now too. Sure that will be the thought with other teams that need a QB.
If the Cardinals beat the 49ers and Seattle beats the Rams, the draft choice between Arizona and LA comes down to strength of schedule.
Cardinals and Rams are in the same division, so the NFCW, AFCW, and NFCS games are identical.
Relevant games for Arizona are Vikings, Patriots, and Eagles. Those teams are 34-16 pending the Eagles game.
Relevant games for the Rams are Buffalo, Dallas, and the Packers. Those teams are 33-15 pending the Cowboys and Packer results.

The Raiders would pick directly ahead of us if the Rams win. And that's it. It's just sliding down one spot in the draft for the possibility of playoffs.
"Yeah, we just... we don't want them to go. So that's our motivation."
