"I'm sure all these heart problems from healthy young people are all just a coincidence. For example, My family will be burying my 5 year old grandson on friday. His heart stopped last friday morning at Helen Devos childrens hospitol. They took over 20 minutes to get it going again and it was determined he was brain dead. They kept him on life support until yesterday to try to find recipients for organ donations.
I'm fucking bawling right now and having a hell of a time not believing something isn't going on."
------------------------------------------------That's terrible. My sincere condolences to you and your family Foxhopper.
The Bills said in a tweet at 1:48 a.m. ET that Hamlin’s heartbeat was restored by medical personnel on the field before he was loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

Thanks for picking me up.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

Few details are available regarding the status of Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who remains sedated and in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest on Monday night.
Jordon Rooney, a marketing representative for Bills safety Damar Hamlin and a spokesperson for the Hamlin family, appeared earlier today on ABC’s Good Morning America.
“I can’t speak specifically on his medical condition,” Rooney told Robin Roberts. “I will say that he’s fighting, he’s a fighter. . . . The family is in good spirits. We’re honestly just taking it minute by minute, hour by hour.”
We will continue to provide updates, based on official announcements from the Bills, the league, or the Hamlin family.

On a less serious note, Calvin Johnson's single season receiving record, which looked almost certain to fall for most of the year with perhaps both Jefferson and Hill surpassing him, now probably stands for another year. After Jefferson was shut down by GB, he now needs 194 yards to break the record (Hill is way off the pace and would need 304).
Vikings play the Bears without Fields...They should have that won by halftime...They most likely wont put Jefferson at risk in a most likely blowout game.

I hope the Texans see that the Bears are tanking their week 18 game. #1 overall pick is in jeopardy. Be smart and lose to the Colts!!!
Also, that locks in the Vikings at 13-4. We really need the Cardinals to miraculously upset the 49ers this week for playoff seeding matchups OR draft position. Go Cardinals!

Breaking a 16 game seasonal record in 17 games is just wrong. All seasonal records should stand until the per game averages are exceeded, IMO

Really this is an important draft for them....The Bears will trade down if they get #1 most likely and it will be highest bidder for Bryce....The Texans need to do whatever it takes to lose that game and make sure they get that future stud QB.....
As I’m getting mentally prepared for the Rams vs Seahawks game on Sunday… noticed the Seahawks projected starting secondary is the most ridiculous thing:
CB - Tariq Woolen. Rookie that ran a 4.26 40-yard dash.
CB - Michael Jackson. Former Lion and the name.
CB - Coby Bryant. The name.
CB - Justin Coleman. Former Lion.
S - Quandre Diggs. Former Lion
S - Teez Tabor. Former Lion.

If that is the case then the only record that would ever count would be from the 12 game era......
If Jefferson breaks Calvin's record in 17 he'd still do it with fewer balls thrown to him over the course of the season.
Respectable, it's not like he's taking advantage of something Calvin didn't have. Now if that 17th game gave Jefferson 10-20 extra attempts then yeah, I'd take issue with it.
The only counting records that actual can be compared apples to apples are Game records, since the length of the game hasn't changed. With an asterisk, i.e. if that record was set in an Overtime game.
