  • You saw the Kayvon that people who rated him higher than Hutch saw all along. A game wrecker. FREAK. Dude is just on a different level. He put up a HOF level performance last night. Just imagine if that dude stays healthy and is consistent.

    • The upside with Kayvon was always generational upside. That freak show shit. Well, he showed it. He was always the superior prospect to Hutch. Always.

We took Hutch. He’s been good, he works, he fits the culture. One thing is certain. He doesn’t move like Kayvon does. He doesn’t have the bend and the explosiveness. He doesn’t have that extra gear.

If the game is on the line and I need to make a play, I take Kayvon all day.

        • Very sneaky situation in the AFC South… if the Jaguars defeat the Jets tomorrow, it’s possible they will play for the division vs the Titans in week 18.

          Jaguars (6-8)
          at Jets
          at Texans
          vs Titans

          Titans (7-7)
          vs Texans
          vs Cowboys
          at Jaguars

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Titans lose to the Texans given the Tannehill news. Malik Willis will have to start and win another game vs the Texans.

          • Hutchinson has had the better year. When they played the Giants in New York, Hutchinson was the better player, Thibodeaux was invisible. Sunday was Thibodeaux 's coming out party, but remember that Hutchinson feasted on the Commanders as well with 3 sacks.

Once they changed positions for Hutchinson, he has been electric and they have been excellent against the run.

            • I'll take Hutch's consistency over KT's one great game per year.

              • Thibodeaux earned a career-high 89.7 game grade for his efforts on Sunday Night Football against the Commanders, flashing in both the run and pass games.

                The numbers say otherwise.

SO why didnt this come out in his senior year in college? he had like 2 good games....This year he has been quiet then has one monster game...he needs to be more consistent.

You are asking what has happened to the Lion team that they are in a playoff push. Quite simply, Hutchinson has settled in and the front seven has been dominant in the second half of the season and Hutchinson is by far the best player in that front seven.

                      • On top of it, James Houston might have shown the best bend and burst of anyone drafted this year. Hopefully he finds a way to be a reliable run defender.

Even if he doesn't, that the Lions got a dangerous situational edge rusher in the 6th round is a gem of a find.

                          • Jets might want to think about benching Wilson for Flacco. Terrible 1st half.

Good for the Lions if the Jaguars win.
Possibly helps that Rams pick because it would be one fewer team with 6 wins:

                              • A loss tonight and the Jets will have lost in consecutive weeks to teh two worst teams in the league last year on their home turf.....That doesn't bode well for Mr Wilson.
