I’m telling you guys if we somehow lose to the Jets and have to beat Green Bay in Lambo the last week in order to make the playoffs you know what’s gonna happen and as long time Lions fan it’s a freaking nightmare isn’t it!
BTW, Dan, I would rather not have a playoff berth on the line when the Lions play in Green Bay. Either have clinched a spot of be out of it by then.
Because you are right. We all fear what will happen if it comes down to the last game of the season in Green Bay.
I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on
With 3 losses and the loss head-to-head vs Philly, Minny has basically no shot at the #1. Also, by winning, Minny increased both our strength of schedule and strength of victory, but I don't see a scenario wherein that tiebreaker would activate. But it also isn't feasible that the Vikes could lose out. So in reality, this game was basically meaningless to the Lions except for, you know, fuck the Vikes.
"Yeah, we just... we don't want them to go. So that's our motivation."

The FTV mentality is pretty much it. Especially since I don't like that they now hold the biggest comeback in NFL history. Just don't want good things for those purple pussies.

I have to give some credit for the comeback, but it’s not like they rallied against a good team to pull off a win. They stumbled all over themselves in the first half to dig a huge hole and finally got out of their own way in the 2nd half.
It was less about the colts beating them and more about them beating themselves. Congratulations, you came back against a team that had no business being up 33-0 on you. If anything it showed how flawed they can be when they overlook an opponent.
"Well, that wasn't pretty, but it was beautiful,'' Lions coach Jim Schwartz said.

IT wasnt meaningless at all....The Colts and Rams both have 4 wins...One more Rams win and that pick will be worse than the Colts.
