    Some wisdom

I know you are young and naive so I excuse your ignorance. I would advise that you are not safe hiding behind a screen. I can obtain your IP addy with one click.

Some Packers fans less stable than I would find you, slit your throat, watch you bleed out, then just walk away laughing. Tread carefully child.

I am married with children in their late teens. I was born in Wisconsin and have been a Packers fan for my whole life(Close to 50 years) I played football at Wisconsin and was drafted in the mid-90's to the NFL. Played 4 years in Miami and one in Green Bay.

You are good for a laugh.

Good luck in life. Be smart and stay safe.
    Seriously? What a psychopath.

    • The Rams are trying to keep Sunday's game from becoming a SF home game again. The are limiting tickets to only people in the LA area. Don't know how effective it will be, but it can't hurt.

        • Screw those bandwagon 49er fans trying to get tickets to the hottest team in the NFL, the LA Rams. We have more.than enough rabid Rams fans to fill the Taj Majal of the NFL, SoFi Stadium. Not one of them deserve to hear the dulcet tones of one Michael Buffer in person. Nothing says NFL more than, "Let's get ready to rumble!" If the Niner fans want to see a game, go to that dump in Santa Clara they call home.

          • I’m not upset the Lions traded Stafford . I’m kind of glad they did because I wanted him to be able to show what he was capable of. Some of the talk of him being incapable of winning sounded so dumb to me. He was clearly talented. Did he make mistakes when he was with the Lions? Sure. But when you look at the rest of the team, I thought it was obvious that he was being held back. And I never thought we had good offensive coaches that got the most out of the talent that was here. Caldwell seemed to handcuff Stafford. And Patricia was Patricia.

Now he’s on a much more talented team and there are people saying “of course he’s going to win with this kind of talent around him”. But his detractors were saying it didn’t matter who he lined up with. He would make mistakes to kill his team. He’s won two playoff games and he went on the road to beat Tampa and Tom Brady. Now he’s on a team that actually has some talent and he’s competing for a spot in the Super Bowl. Is the talent around him the reason he’s gotten this far for the first time? Yes, absolutely it is. You need major talent to win a Super Bowl.

I think it's because Rodgers has been consistently winning with mediocre coaching and talent that people wondered why Stafford couldn't do the same. Stafford couldn't do the same because he didn't have the luxury of mediocre coaches and teammates. On the way in and on the way out he had nothing around him. The Lions before and after Stafford are a combined 3-29-1 (.106). During his time with our Lions he went 74-90-1 (.452) and the Lions were 5-22 (.185) when he sat out games due to injury. Being .106 before and after Stafford, and .185 while he's injured, let's be generous and say the Lions were a .150 team. Rounding up that translates to being 2-13-1 yearly. Being that bad forever is supposed to be impossible. Rounding Stafford's wins down, we're a 7-9 team with him. So we go from worse than 2-13-1 to better than 7-9 just by having Stafford line up. Presumably if the Lions were a mediocre team and went 7-9 annually without Stafford, then he'd have taken us on deep runs all the time.
"Yeah, we just... we don't want them to go. So that's our motivation."

                • That's the thrust of it. The Lions weren't mediocre during Stafford's tenure; they were largely putrid.

Fuck, anyone who still clung to the idea that Stafford was in any way holding this team back after the 2019 season should have been committed for their insanity. 3-4-1 in the first half of the season with him behind center. 0-for-fucking-8 in the second half with him on IR. That should have put the nonsense to bed with anyone who was remotely rational.

                  • If he wins it all and gets that monkey off his back and then he comes back to the Lions when we kick Goff to the curb, all will be forgiven.

FFS, the Packers talent AND coaching has been head and shoulders above that of the Lions over Rodgers' career.

That argument is as stupid as all of the others.

Ha! Most Ram fans are in St Louis and Detroit.

So now they're artificially trying to prevent fine tax paying Americans from the freedumb of going to this game at a stadium that their hard earned tax money paid for? Whata bunch of commies
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

                          THIS

His haters remind me of the Jordan haters that said, "See. He sux with the Wizards. He ain't that good."

You guys are being duped. When the team first went winless in his absence, that was all any one with reason should need to see. You can confront them with any truth and they will stand adamant to their narrative. They've vested in that folly and willing to pull you down the rabbit hole with them.

aint nobody got time for that GIF

But that also underscored how much WCF and Martha put on that mans shoulders. IDK if they would ever get out of that mentality as long as he were here.

And to his credit, he never did like Rodgers (IMO is a good thing) and demanded people be fired or certain personnel retained or acquired. He knew this and he wanted better that he knew was foreign at the time in Detroit. Plus we were destined for another rebuild.

Not a lot of QBs have to learn as many different systems as he has. Rodgers has pretty much been in the same system his entire career.
