Caldwell is a guy who will make your team better if for no reason than he is an excellent teacher and game prep master. But he is not particularly good at managing a game in real time, so there is a ceiling that Caldwell-led teams tend to hit.

Holy shit what a bonkers game. I’m almost happy it ended the way it did with Stafford coming up huge to rescue his team and and save the game. Still, should have been an absolute beat down, McVay and the fumble-itis almost did in a masterful performance at QB.

I agree with that for the most part, I was never a big fan of his game management with a lead. My bigger issue with him at the time was he didn't seem to drive for them to get better players. If you had a franchise that went after talent like the Rams have done with those Caldwell teams, you might have had something. They were way too patient. But like today, that shit game management gets you teetering on the edge in games where you should comfortably win.

I am married with children in their late teens. I was born in Wisconsin and have been a Packers fan for my whole life(Close to 50 years) I played football at Wisconsin and was drafted in the mid-90's to the NFL. Played 4 years in Miami and one in Green Bay.
