No team in the NFL was built like the Los Angeles Rams because nobody else would dare. No organization shares the Rams' unorthodox values or their depth of faith in themselves. Nobody else manages its high draft picks like Los Angeles does, and no team has navigated the minefield of mid-career veteran acquisition with the Rams' success.

I was always fine with the trade. I mean I would have preferred he wanted to stay but them moving him and more importantly Sheila letting it happen was a very good sign things could be different from her parents. Doing guys dirty like Barry and CJ not only sours them on the organization but it gets you nothing for them. Even at 32 a first round pick is high value and infinitely better than getting nothing.

Something tipped the scale for me when it comes to rooting interest in this game…. Bengals fans are getting overly annoying about Penei Sewell. Yeah, we get it. Chase was an excellent draft pick. Doesn’t mean you need to shit on and be all smug about Sewell.
Sewell was also a great pick and should have an outstanding NFL career.
Therefore, Go Rams!

I was in Vegas this weekend. Tons of NFL players out and about. Really big dudes in big groups. It was the calm before the storm before next week. Huge UFC fight this Saturday and SB on Sunday. That place is going to be rocking.
Threw $20 each on Van Jefferson and Tyler Boyd to win MVP. 75/1 odds. Long shots for sure, but that's a $1,500 payout if either guy hits.
