Update on the kitchen:
The cabinets are installed and I got the microwave mounted, installed the dishwasher, and put the refrigerator back in and hooked up the water. It was a real pain in the ass to get the microwave vent connected but that is why they make duct tape.
I had to cap off the plumbing for now and also cap off the water valves to the sink so I could connect and use the water for the dishwasher and fridge.
I am glad to have the dishwasher working. I was getting tired of doing dishes in the bathtub.
We are still waiting for the counter tops and sink. Not sure when they will be installed. It would be nice to have a sink again. sigh
We still have kitchen shit scattered throughout the house. We are starting to put some stuff back into the cabinets, but are waiting for the cabinet guy to bring a few more shelves.

This is all looking superb. Really neat, professional job. I know there has obviously been a ton of work put in......, but I absolutely love that cupboard to the LHS of the door. Love cupboards like that. I'd put glass doors as the top two doors and display all the "music bands" cups that people get me for B'days and Xmas. It'd be the Iron Maiden cupboard predominantly.
Long story short (ties in with all this work, bear with me!) ......, son and wife (and pals) are in Bulgaria this week for a holiday. Son has cat, (Rick) and I head there to "cat sit" for a few hours every day that he's away. He doesn't like Rick going to the cat and dog places. Says Rick comes back a psycho. But must admit; Rick a bit of a fucking psycho anyway. Look at him wrong and he takes yer face off.
ANYWAY, I am too tight to have all the TV channels......, Scotty boy has them all......., Disney Channel ...... and "Home Improvement" --->> Been watching a few episodes this week. Real blast from the past. I am visualising Tim Taylor & Al Borland in that kitchen and Wilson Wilson Jnr in the yard!
