So my daughter is on the swim team this year as a freshman and I wish somebody would have warmed me how nerve wracking girls high school diving is to watch. You get maybe 1-2 girls that are pretty good, a couple more that are ok and the rest you’re terrified they are going to hurt themselves.Comment

Hey, you fucking fucks!
I got those damn louvered doors painted. I replaced the pull knobs and some of the hardware and rehung them a couple weeks ago. I painted the trim around the doors and in the hallway. Painted the doors to the bedrooms and bathroom and replaced the knobs. It looks pretty good. Eventually I have to take off the wallpaper borders and shit in the bedrooms and repaint them too.
I might paint the hallway today while I'm waiting for the Lions game. (but probably won't. Ha!)
On another note, Mrs CGVT and I spent a week helping my son and his wife take care of their new baby.
BTW, I am too fucking old for that shit.

By the way. TOTALLY understand the “getting too old for this” thinking. Last Monday, was out for lunch with daughter , son-in-law and two grwndaughters, (2 & 4 years old …. the eldest; now 12 was at school) …… and it was tough work keeping them entertained. I mean they’re great, well behaved and all that but its just one thing after another….. “Papa, look at my crayon drawing. Papa, do this maze puzzle. Papa, do this wordsearch. Papa, i just forking dropped my forking fork.”
