Yes. Schoop was a wildly amazing song performed when Salt-N-Pepa were still hot.
Baez and Correa >>> Baez and Schoop
This shouldnt be much on an argument.
F#*K OHIO!!!

It sounds like the answer is you don't know who he is. Schoop is already under contract and has a comparable WAR with Baez. Baez is a little better but School has had 5 straight years with 20 dingers. You are better off using the that kind of money on an outfielder.
They signed Pineda which is meh to me. It is an incremental improvement. Nothing that moves the win needle for me.
I think the guy they really missed out on (given what he signed for) was Kyle Schwarber. He fills a lot of things the Tigers lineup needs (a tentpole player, lefty power with good OBP). They could have played him at DH most days with like a game a week in LF and 1b. When Schwarber is hot he can carry a team offensively for like a month. But to do that you make Miggy a part time player.
Imagine this lineup
RF Baddoo
LF Grossman
SS Baez
DH Schwarber
3B Candelario
2b Schoop
1b Torkelson
CF Greene
C Barnhart
Right now this team has the look of an 86-87 win team. A fringe playoff contender (to contend for a last wild card spot looking at 90-92 wins most years). To be more than that they are going to have to some of the young kids take a Great Leap Forward. Plenty of candidates for that (Mize, Skubal, Manning, Greene, Tork to name a few) to become a legit playoff contender.
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR
What a bullshit thing to happen to Greene. He was having a nice spring and now a fractured foot. We can't have nice things.

Good trade indeed. The Tigers are actually making moves like a team wanting to contend. I think this is a team hovering around .500
Hopefully they continue the spending and run with this.

Most impressive was the IF defense. Torkleson had two really good picks on throws from Candelario and Baez. Also made a nice catch on a shot.
