He's been hurt a lot already. Doesn't run anymore. Doesn't have massive pop. I was reading he might have to take a 1 year deal with HOU. His market seems to have dried up.

I don't trust Correa's health over 10 years at all.

It might not be 300+ mil (which i never thought Correa was worth it anyway) but I thought the Tigers have done well this offseason. Javier Baez and E Rodriquez were nice signings. Adding Greene and Tork to the lineup and you have the makings of major league team this year compared to the AAA Tigers of the last few seasons.

Meh, I get the Tigers really not feeling like they had time to wait for Correa to lower his contract demands, especially with someone like Baez waiting for an answer. The gulf between the two isn't that massive.

I don’t disagree there but Baez at second and Correa at SS. Man that’s a really great middle infield. Toro and Greene making the team. That’s something to get excited over

Would Baez have been okay moving to second, though? Not a rhetorical question, I have no idea. Maybe it's a question the Tigers posed, and Baez gave them enough of a look that they decided not to pursue?

You aren't gaining anything by replacing Schoop with Baez at second. Unless you are pushing Schoop to first, but the you should want Tork at first.
