Norris and Farmer got blown up. Still they take 2 of 3 from the Indians. Good start to the season.

Skubal looked good.....too many pitches....but you can see a near ace/frontline pitcher (maybe an ace if we get lucky) in there.2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

He killed it in spring training. I’ll be curious to see how he does when they start moving him up the lineup. His speed and power is a great comboF#*K OHIO!!!
You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

That is nearly the case 99 percent of the time, but it's not like there has never been a long term rule 5 success. There have been a few great ones.
I remember when Chris Shelton was a two month rule 5 sensation in 2006. He flamed out and wasn't even on the playoff roster but his scorching bat got them off to a hot start and they ended up needing all of those early wins to get them into the playoffs.

I remember when Brennan Boesch had that torrid stretch for a month or two. His swing was short compact and he appeared to have no holes in it. Matt Newman was in here celebrating that they had Miggy's protector in the lineup for the next 5 years. He lasted one more season as a Tiger. But that one month his OPS was over 1.000, it was amazing, even aot of really good players don't have those kinds of stretches
