  • Why do the Umps check the pitcher's hands at the end of an inning? Never noticed that before.

    • So, is Cleveland embracing "Pitching Chaos" now, or did something happen to Boyd?

      • Would imagine Cleveland is embracing pitching chaos today with it being win or go home and their dominant bullpen. Isn’t like they have a Skubal… of which Skubal’s season could be the most dominant/impactful from a Michigan athlete that I’ve ever seen. Hasn’t given up a run in these must win games in a few starts (please don’t jinx it). Anonymous Cy Young winner most likely.

Scary Kerry Carpenter! Clutching it out despite the injury. What a guy.

        • And now Skubal falls apart.

Well... this might be curtains for the Tigers.

          • It was a good run... but the Guardians are the first to five. Game over.

Get some fucking bats, for fuck's sake, Chris!

              • LOL. I just had to same something.
Going to be laying the jinx all over the Cowboys tomorrow. Dak is a MVP candidate. Lamb is best WR.

                Sad …

                • I think the reason I'm bummed is because I know Chris Illitch isn't going to do shit.

He's going to use this magical run to sit on his hands, tell people, "Trust the farm" as he continues to run this team on the cheap, and the idiot rubes that represent a bulk of the Tigers fandom will happily carry his water. And when this turns out to be the plateau of this run, they'll sell off anyone with talent for prospects, and we'll be back to wandering in the wilderness again.

                  • Oh, and if the Tigers somehow start coming back, don't tell me. My reverse jinx power must be held in place.

                    • I don't think that we will come back at all.

                      Onto '25!!

                      • 7-3 Cleveland wins, and the Tigers season is over.

                        • The Tigers players and coaches are going to be kicking themselves all season for blowing it in Game 4. It was right there.

The $100 million dollar question is if anyone above them is going to feel any imperative.

Cleveland is a better team, not by much, but better balanced.
The off season will be interesting
