  • I'm glad they got to Zach Gallen before he departed, those between inning shenanigans were bush league.

    • Have the Tigers swept a 3-game series this year?

It'll be interesting if they do that later today.

Hopefully, the bats will stay alive to achieve that.

        • Maybe the Tigers need to move the franchise to Lakeland permanently or something.

And the pitching didn't do the job today, losing 6-4 in Arizona.

            • Tigers snap a 5-game losing streak tonight at home vs. Toronto, 6-2.

Colt Keith with his 1st MLB home run.

                • Just one excuse after another. It'll be so fun to see Harris have to make up a different reason in a couple years as to why the Tigers are still being run on the cheap.

Yep, and now that this Forum is safe through the 2025 season, I'm getting ready for July and the beginning of Detroit Lions training camp.

The Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons are dead to me right now.

                      • Not sure who Harris should have signed in FA this last offseason. FA was pretty awful especially on the hitting side.

Matt Chapman? Never was going to be a multi year deal for a 3b with Jace Jung potentially being ready second half of this year/2025. They did sign Urshela to man the hot corner this year.

JD Martinez? Possibly though his k rate went up a good bit, made less contact.

                        • After the 8-0 clobbering in the first game the Tigers are up to league average at 4.31 runs per game. The offense has been starting to show signs. Of course they have to face Skenes in game 2, so that might bring the average back down promptly.

How about Luis Arraez, the guy the Miami Marlins traded that has won Batting titles in both leagues?

Could the Tigers gotten him before he was traded to San Diego??

                            • I would not have complained if they had traded for Arraez but they are trying to play Keith at second. They have a decent amount of good bats in the upper level but most of these guys are 2nd base/3rd base types. As it is they trying to push Jung over to 3rd.
