And yes baseball and hockey take awhile to get the kids to come into their own. My thing with Tork was that I just didn’t see any kind of wow moment early on like i was hoping to. He’s really start to pop though and I’m extremely happy about that

...also remember Tork has more college home runs than anyone besides Bob Horner. The guy raked all throughout his life until the big leagues. The fastball in the bigs is difficult to catch up with right away. Everything is quicker and sharper and takes awhile to get adjusted. A rare few do well out of the gate. Like for every Al Kaline there's a bunch of Lou Whitaker's and JD Martinez'.

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

Sure and he probably was promoted too fast. But…Froot said you don’t wait a couple years for the “most MLB ready bat” but isn’t waiting a couple years for a drafted position player to get promoted to the majors basically the minimum?"This is an empty signature. Every other team in the AL besides Oakland would be in 1st place in the Central. Last week the division leading Twins were on pace to strike out the most times in one season ever.
Tigers were 2 hit last night. Since they started this rebuild 8 years ago, it is comical how many times they fail to get more than 3 hits. The one silver lining is the pitch clock, the game last night to a brisk 2 hours and 11 minutes, it is much more easier to listen to or watch a game consistently every day when it's not a 3-3.5 hour slog.
They are really bad but if they could acquire a solid bat, they could win the division.

When I say that they need to spend, it doesn't mean you have to go out and only spend on Aaron Judge. If you look at this dog shit off-season they non-tendered Jeimer Candelario to save money. He was thought to get 7 million. They replaced him with Nick Maton who has been an abject disaster, but he was much cheaper. The dude is terrible at 3rd and blew the game today. Jeimer is 2.4 WAR this year at the plate, Maton -1.1 WAR at the plate.
