  • The reason I bring up imagining a Campbell coached Cowboys is I cannot imagine them showing up that unprepared like we saw Sunday versus the Packers. I think McCarthy is a decent enough coach, but I don't think players would run through a wall for him. Most of the time I would advocate caution, you could do a lot worse than McCarthy but in this situation there are a lot of good available coaches

    • I’ve heard McCarthy is the anti-MCDC when it comes to motivational speeches.

      • That's the vibe I get. If you were to believe that hatchet job on McCarthy at the end of his Green Bay tenure, preparedness was also an issue.

          • MCDC on the Cowboys would be scary. Absolutely scary. Jerry Jones is a lot of things but he’d give him whatever he could
ask for to win and he’d make that team likeable. No thanks

My whole childhood growing up it's been nothing but "Packers at home in the playoffs, they never lose!" What are they like .500 at home in the playoffs this century? 7th seed is the best thing to happen to them because they can't really win at home.

I've wondered that as well. His last visit was in June. I didn't see any "Screw this, I'm out" type of posts from him. Hope all is well.

                              • I wonder if Jerry Jones is still sensitive about the criticism for getting rid of Jimmy Johnson so now he overcompensates with his loyalty.
