My whole childhood growing up it's been nothing but "Packers at home in the playoffs, they never lose!" What are they like .500 at home in the playoffs this century? 7th seed is the best thing to happen to them because they can't really win at home.

      So yes definitely a wuss!
Really the Lions are my only team in anything, in any league, in any sport. I did disown the Lions for like 3 days during the 2008 season because I felt that their effort level @SF was utterly unforgiveable. I remember sitting in my room looking at my poster of all 28 NFL teams (it was an old poster, lol) and thinking about whom to switch to. But then junior got on the radio and got him who shall not be named fired, and I came back, and never missed a game, not one single game, of 0-16, yay me.

One day I hope to meet someone who is a fan of the Jets, the Mets, the Nets, and the uh... *checks NHL teams*... also the Jets.

Occasionally I've played sports video games for the other 3 major sports and defaulted to picking the Detroit teams but that is about it. In any other sport or league I could root for any team on a whim, it's just that I don't watch other sports more than just the ending of a big game every 5-10 years.

Maybe her brother can hook her up with an updated one. Also, "between Nick Saban & the Cowboys losing, this is NOT a good year for Yankees fans" - LOFL - nice!

              • I liked the sequence:
Steelers: "The [Bills fans] were throwing snowballs at our intended receivers!"
Annie: "Between the fans and Mason Rudolph, that makes one of them"
Ravens: "This is why they didn't let Rudolph join in the reindeer games"

                or

"the Seahawks asked [Carroll] if he'd like to stay on in the organization but he said he'll pass"

I didn’t get that part. Are they saying they only like front runners?

                    • yes, that's how I took it - mocking all the sad front-runners out there

(and considering she's from MI but is a Packers fan, she knows a thing or two about front-runners)

                        So so true.

I hate the Packers, I just want them to go away. I give them credit though, their DL gives us fits. Specifically Gary, he’s been a 1 man wrecking crew against Goff

                        • My early season power ratings($) were correct on the Packers unfortunately.

I remember when Gary was at Michigan...I just dont remember him being that good....The Packers always seem to draft well though...it's why they are never down and out for very long.

He was always that good but he was hurt a lot and he never really piled on the sack totals. He got tons of pressure but everyone else always seemed to clean it up. He’s an athletic freak

They’re definitely better than I gave them credit for but I still think they’re shit. They’ll be done in San Fran and we’ll
see how good they are next year
