  • I always laughed when younger fans would complain about Stafford. For years the Lions had the hardest time finding a quarterback. At best you would have a quarterback have one good season like Mitchell did, but it never lasted.

    • Tannehill is capable. He got the Titans into the playoffs and beat the Patriots. If he has talent around him, he can be productive. The Titans let the offensive line erode and traded away Brown.

Wilson is the worst QB in the league right now. He also has one of the NFL's best defenses on the other side of the ball and he has weapons on offense. It takes a lot to f up what could be a solid playoff team because of 1 player.
        F#*K OHIO!!!

        • Not sure if he’s the worst QB that has played this season. Danny DeVito of the Giants is worse than Zach Wilson IMO.

Edit: Tommy DeVito is his name, same thing. Who cares what you call him.

          • DeVito is on a terrible team and has only played a handful of games. Wilson will end up playing the entire season. And he'll still be the worst full time starter.

            • I guess my thought was how Zach Wilson entered the 2023 season as a backup QB. That’s why it seemed valid to compare Wilson to all the QBs that have played.

Burrow reportedly out for the season.
Significant news and a huge bummer for the Bengals. One positive thing to come out of this is maybe Burrow will have a new shiny toy in Brock Bowers next season.

The funny side effect of this news is the Steelers haven’t played the Bengals yet this season…. So add on two more wins to that ridiculous Steelers team.

And once Mike Tomlin gets the Pittsburgh Steelers to 9 wins this season, that'll mean he'll still never have had a losing season.

                Incredible record.

Kinda like the Lions catching a break with Cousins being out for the season before they had to play the Vikings

                  • Vikings play next 3/4 on road. They play Broncos and Raiders. Broncos are playing better and Raiders are playing with more life after coach firing.
Hoping they lose a couple of those games.

That's what we thought when it happened, and then the Vikings pick up the top running QB in the league. We might have been better off playing against Cousins

                        Whoa. Easy there big fella.

A little hyperbole never hurt anyone but..

He has played well, but there is a reason that Dobbs has been kicked around the league. My guess is that he returns to the norm

As long as Dobbs doesn't become this generation's version of Kurt Warner, ok.

But, as a long suffering, PTSD survivor of SOL, I'm still trying to wean myself from that.

                          • Dobbs is literally leading the league in rushing yards by a QB right now.

                            • If you look at the career of Dobbs, he's never been given a sustained chance to be a starter. We are not sure what come back to earth means for him. When he's been thrust into these situations, he's been Ok all things considered. His biggest crime was getting drafted in the 4th round.

                                What? Average yards per carry?

Edit: forgot that he played half a season in Arizona. He’s still behind Lamar Jackson by a good bit.
