This article is 3 years old so it is a little outdated. Very interesting though. I did not know of some of the relations:
Branching out
Mapping the roots, influences and origins of every active head coach
By Adam Kilgore Oct. 12, 2018
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

Even the master (Belichick) isn't for everybody.
Bud Grant wasn't for everybody - shit gave the opponents heaters and his team none......
Players in todays society would be filing lawsuits over that - players in that day just went out and kicked ass.
Vikings only problem came when they had to play in 70 degree weather comes SB Sunday - in January - where in Minneapolis it was likely -5.

Exactly, Bud Grant, good grief.
Belichick certainly isn't for everybody, the guy most responsible for their success got the fuck out of there when he got the chance and won a SB in Tampa. You can kind of get away with it in the NFL because the players have such little power to move teams and eighty percent of the league is run by these little tyrants with messiah complexes. It's why we see these failures among the Belichick disciples, nearly everyone of them learn the wrong lesson, they think being a total dick to the players is the secret sauce.
Sports are littered with these coaches with god complexes who are convinced their hard ass approach is the reason for the success. Most of the time they are fooled by randomness. Everybody is a hero in their own story.

Brady, as many titles as he had - he was the straw that stirred the drink - and the drink was made to perfection.
Shit, they went 7-9 without Brady (and with a league high COVID opt-out).
One could argue that might very well be one of Belichek's finest accomplishments from a W/L perspective. Lions fans would have looked at what NE went through last year and said 2-14, easy......

Belichick F’ed up a perfect situation. That dude needs to change some of his ways before it’s too late. Yes he’s one of the best of all time but he needs to make a few changes. Even hard ass Scotty Bowman knew when to let the players be human from time to time.F#*K OHIO!!!
You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

Then thing about Belichick is he is a football coach lifer who has been grinding on football since about age 8 with his master NFL scout father. He is a grinder and it manifests itself with gameplans and shrewd talent evaluation. Most of these coaches say they work 70 hour weeks but most of them is talk. All of these Belichick disciples are copying the hard ass approach thinking that is thse secret sauce. That is more annoying side effect than secret sauce.
Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn brought the annoying side effect without the other shit. By most accounts they were miserable to work for. That's OK if you are finding diamonds in the rough and create amazing gameplans. Those guys main strategy was signing ex Pats players and a weird defensive strategy that put their corners on an island the most in the NFL even though the corners were lacking or green.
