By the way I had the numbers 1-1 for the Super Bowl. I was definitely hoping Brady would be willing to take the last snap and run out of the back of the endzone. sigh.
I wasn't surprised one bit KC was throwing as much as they were. It's like a curse, can't be the GOAT, unless you beat the GOAT - AND - look like the GOAT while doing it. Meanwhile Brady didn't throw nearly as much, but was cooly efficient.

RUSSELL WILSONQB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Speaking in a Tuesday video conference, Russell Wilson said "I'm frustrated with getting hit too much."
"I've been sacked almost 400 times," Wilson said. "So we've got to get better. I've got to find ways to get better too." The "I'm frustrated with getting hit too much" response came when Wilson asked if he was "frustrated with the Seahawks." This isn't the first time Wilson has dabbled in public criticism of the franchise, but it is the most severe and direct. Wilson's words come the same day he told Dan Patrick "that's a Seahawks question" when asked if he was on the trade block. By every indication, teams have contacted the Seahawks about Wilson and they've said "no way." Wilson has not requested a trade. Wilson should be back with the only team he's ever known in 2021, but he is finally boiling over about the team's decade-long underinvestment in its offensive line. Naturally, the Seahawks lack a first-round pick following the acquisition of Jamal Adams last summer.

Ried came right out and said. He thought they could just do what they had been doing. His quote was "I didn't see it coming".Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

That’s my kind of defense. Fuck your bend but don’t break. Have the QB running for his life living in terror every time he gets the ball snapped. Mahomes was seeing ghosts.
Obviously you need an elite D-line, but you can dream. Give me that other that passive trash served up by Fatty Matty.

The Chiefs only punted 3 times. The D-line was impressive for sure but bend but don't break is exactly what they were doing with 2 deep all day and keeping everything in front of them. KC almost assuredly scores more even if just FG's and is in the game without the Mathieu pick coming back and the Evans PI's before the half.

Okay - you have a point but they took away the first read, the deep shots and they were tenants in the KC backfield all night. Their D line was having a party back there - 2,3 guys with a shot at Mahomes.
The Lions “scheme” seemed to attribute no value to getting after the quarterback.
