        Eric Ebron
        F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

        • Ebron was so amazing he had ten of the most dominant seasons in league history in only eight years.

On an aside, it actually blows my mind a little that the dude managed to have a fucking eight year career in the NFL.

          • Meanwhile, Kenny Pickett requested a trade... and now instead of potentially being a backup to Russel Wilson, he's now guaranteed to the backup behind Jalen Hurts.

Sometimes it's nice to see a dude's hubris crash against the rocks of reality.

            • Is the Russell Wilson of the last 3 years even an upgrade to Kenny Pickett?

              • Yes, but not be much.

                • That's the hubris of it all.

Pickett had a legitimate shot at starting in Pittsburgh; if not from the get go beating out Wilson in preseason, at some point after Wilson inevitably fucks up enough that he gets benched.

Instead, he threw a hissy fit, demanded a trade, and now he's going to a situation where he's buried. He has absolutely no shot of getting meaningful playing time outside of a disastrous injury. I suppose it's not impossible... Hurts get hurt, but certainly not something I'd be banking on.

Gud werk, dumbass. Betting on yourself only works when you actually have some decent cards in the hole.

                  • Fields to Steelers for a 2025 6th that could become a 4th. Ouch.

                    • Was just listening to some local sports talk here in Chicagoland and there are a lot of Fields truthers still around. One guy was going on and on about building around Fields because of his ceilling and that he still has a ton of value and the host just said “if he has so much value why is nobody trading for him? The league has seen the tape and they all said ‘pass’”. Caller was befuddled to say the least.

                      • I'd argue Fields will be Pitt's starter. Wilson is... not good at this point in his career. Fields at least has faint upside.

                        • Yeah the Pickett thing ended up putting Fields in a pretty good spot. Tomlin can be stubborn and I don’t think he’ll be quick to hook Wilson, but if Fields doesn’t get a shot somewhere in the mid to late portion of the season, I’d be surprised.

                          • I look forward to Fields coming in week 11 and having a few spectacular plays and Steelers fans getting all excited and sports talk going off about Pitt getting a steal, yada yada.

The Detroit Lions beefed up their offensive line by drafting Oregon's Penei Sewell, but they should have drafted a playmaker with the No. 7 pick.
