Fields won’t be getting a massive payday as the NFL is trending away from RBs. He’ll be phased out soon enough.

Fields is definitely the definition of an enigma.
So dynamic as a football player but so average at his position.
He would be a guy I would think if they could convince him to find another role he may have a viable role.
He probably has 1 or 2 more years to convince a team he can be a starting quarterback.

History has shown that QB's whom depend on the run simply don't last long. For whatever reason, the Bears have not been successful developing Fields as a pocket passer. It would seem that they are ready to move on from him, will be curious to see how this storyline develops.

In Fields’s defense, he’s had bad coaching, bad receivers (until this year), and a bad offensive line/running game. I wouldn’t completely dismiss him but he probably doesn’t have much hope to turn it around.
