Irony is one of life’s greatest mysteries.
But I didn’t think anybody would get it. But I tried to be as transparent as I could be.
your criticism to my “feelings” doesn’t change them.
Did you want a better explanation to give you satisfaction? I guess I can’t provide one.
Life has a lot of grey area.
If that clip truly reflected your thinking, then your decision regarding Stafford was made on a whim.
Regardless, he's not on the team anymore and has gone on to win a Superbowl. ✌#birdsarentreal

How many of you fellas wanted Campbell fired after 22 games?
Pigs don’t know pigs stink
Remember your man Stafford said Schwartz was a great coach.
Caldwell was a great coach. Cooter was a great coach.
Played with teammates that were average at best but hey they fought hard.
He was a great teammate and warrior in his own right.
Sometimes your greatest strength can be your greatest weakness.
It’s my Opinion. I put it out there. You guys can debate it for the next 2 weeks of course.
I would suggest being like Campbell and put it behind you. We got a big game comin up.
Cmon team let’s go forward🙃

If it doesn’t happen then why is the topic of drafting a a QB such a hot topic very year.
The cognitive dissonance of you guys is amazing.
This forum likes to pick and choose their narratives based on who their arguing with.
That is why the Good Goff Bad Goff will always be a hot topic.
Is he a franchise QB or just a bridge.
Yada yada yada

A lot of people buy into the concept of a quarterback messiah. The player who can overcome any ill the franchise has by sheer will. You have a bad defense or a bad running game (Stafford's Lions problem), if you have the right quarterback you can overcome! In fact, the teams who win it all are generally as close to a complete team as possible or they get incredibly hot come playoff time. In the case of the latter, the quarterback is not the Messiah unless you think Dilfer, Flacco, Eli or Foles were some sort of superstars.
When you have a quarterback, you are best served by keeping that quarterback. The Lions got lucky that they were able to turn Stafford into Goff instead of playing quarterback roulette through the draft.
If you ever want to objectively analyze quarterbacks. It would be very instructive to hand write a list of all the super bowl winning quarterbacks since 2000. It's a lot more game manager types than people want to admit. Even the true superstar quarterbacks like Mahomes have to be able to manage a game. They start running into trouble when the supporting cast starts to weaken

1. Good quarterback
2. As complete a team as you can assemble. That means a good running game and at least a respectable defense. Numerous Pro Bowl type players in both sides of the ball. Good special teams.
That was true when Harrington was here, when Stafford was here and now with Goff. With Harrington they didn't even meet objective 1.
