What would make this look worse is if Matt Nagy (new Chiefs OC) gets another HC opportunity in the near future.

The Washington situation is a risky bet for Bieniemy. It could easily go wrong with no QB and a questionable OLine. I heard they’re going to give Sam Howell a shot at starting maybe? Good luck.

I suspect the entire DUI and domestic abuse are the excuses teams use rather than the reason (the Lions, for example, really didn't give one tenth of one shit about the sexual assault allegations in Matt Patricia's history). The actual reason is assuredly something else, like his "bad interviews" actually being "he doesn't talk like we think a head coach should talk."

Doug Peterson didn’t call plays as Reid’s OC. Neither did Matt Nagy. Somebody actually thought Hackett was a good hire. Adam Gase was hired twice! Kliff Kingsbury was fired in college and then hired by the NFL.

NFL teams seem more than willing to give black defensive coaches a shot. But when it comes to offense, not so much. Part of that is the limited amount of OCs that are black too. But by any measure, Bieniemy’s resume is worthy.

Owners are going to hire whoever they want, and you never know what will click with them. But they certainly don’t seem to mind rolling the dice on a guy who’s a bit different or inexperienced when that guy is white.

People continue to search for something else when it's obvious..The NFL owners barely hide their bias. Jonathon Gannon didn't do anything for that job. Bienemy made that defense look silly.

It will be just like Dungy and Marvin Lewis. Both guys got passed over for 3 or 4 hiring cycles and NFL apologists looked for something else to be the reason those fellas weren't getting hired.

I think the issue to anyone on the outside of the organization is what is his role in the game plan creation and play calling duties?
You'd think that after 4 years as OC you wouldn't have Andy Reid with a massive play call sheet, a marker and barking in the headset - that is what the guy who is supposed to be that good should be doing. No? Reid was driving the bus, and there were times where it was hard to imagine Bieniemy even had a clear look at the field from where he was standing.

We’ll see whether he’s worth a shit or not in DC. I think it’s been Andy Reid coat tails myself. Of course if he sucks balls you woke minions will make up more excuses for him.
