Aw man that is F'd up. Just last week he signed with someone after being let go by MIN. He fought being lied on and having his name dragged. And now... RIP young man. May the next life treat you better then this one.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
I think moving forward you’re going to see 2 different philosophies around WRs….
-some GMs are going to be very willing give up picks for the right to pay an established WR 20m per
-other GMs are going to see WRs with a Kleenex-box mentality. There’s going to be good young ones in the draft every year….why pay 20 for that position.
I look at a deal like Hill got….It may pay off for a year or so but I don’t think it’s going to age well.
I've seen it reported though that both Hill and Adams were offered contracts similar to what they got with their new teams but wanted out anyway. Marquise Brown wanted out due to the system they ran in Baltimore. AJ Brown is the only one that wasn't getting offered the money he wanted. I think there's at least a solid chance the not wanting to pay WR's narrative is overblown.
Of course there will be guys like Stefon Diggs or Amari Cooper but that's more of a factor of not being able to pay three receivers and having to make a decision on who to keep.

For the Bucs, “Hello, Hicks” likely means, “See ya, Suh.”
The Buccaneers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with veteran defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The contract is worth “up to” $10 million.
The development likely means that Ndamukong Suh won’t be back for a fourth season with the Bucs. The second overall pick in the 2010 draft, Suh has played for the Lions, Dolphins, Rams, and Bucs.
He appeared in Super Bowl LIII with the Rams, and he won Super Bowl LV with the Bucs.
Hicks joined the Bears in 2016. He was a third-round pick of the Saints in 2012. He spent part of the 2015 season with the Patriots, following a trade from New Orleans.

Memorial Day weekend is now a memory. You likely spent most of it not checking out the non-work websites you typically check out only while at work.
So now that you’re back to work and checking out the various non-work websites that you check out only while at work, here’s what you may have missed while not working.
I wouldn't be against it as I thought the dude was honest on his way out about his motivations. It probably doesn't make sense though if they are confident in their young guys.
It may pay off for a year or so but I don’t think it’s going to age well.
I don’t think it’s going age well at all for Miami. They can pay Hill a ridiculous salary because Tua is on a rookie deal but Tua sucks. Hill won’t change that.
F#*K OHIO!!!

I don't see why he wouldn't, but at this point he is replacement level.
Pretty much. He'd be a decent rotational piece that might on occasion flash his old stuff... but anyone signing him should expect a JAG for the most part.
If Campbell wants tough as nails players you won't find anyone better than Suh. He was ready to kill Stafford for nothing in the NFC Championship
