This is the truth. I've listened to him on the Pat McAfee show where he comes on every Tuesday and they kiss his ass as he spouts his false narrative bullshit. Rodgers thinks that he is an intellectual and deep thinker, but he isn't near as smart as he thinks he is.

However, that doesn't mean he's not the best QB in the league and hands down MVP. Withholding an MVP vote because Rodgers is a dumbass is an dumbass move.

Hypothetical - If another MVP candidate threw for 6000 yards, 65 tds and went lossless (17-0). The difference the vaccine may make:

1.) They might not have become infected because their immune system would have been better able to prevent infection if they were vaccinated.

2.) If they did get infected, it would most likely be a milder case. Meaning they would not possibly end up needing a hospital bed like all the podcaster anti-vaxxers who have died this week.

3.)They would recover faster - which means the virus they exhale is for a shorter time. It also is a lower amount that they exhale. Both of those things mean it is lower % of the time they infect others - allowing the virus to keep living. Both shorter time of sneezing the shit onto others infecting them, and less potent spray. Lower (but not perfect) chances of keeping the virus going. Believe it or not - it is better for us not to spread it to others - who keep the shit going - until you get re-infected again - and around she goes.

3.) The polio vaccine doesn't have a 100% efficacy rate. It is in the upper 90's I believe. But you can still get Polio after the vaccine. It is just really unlikely. And it's even more unlikely because nobody around you has it to spread it to you. Cuz they also got vaccinated. And nobody has it. To give it to you. Which probably wouldn't happen - cuz you have a 97% effective vaccination. That's how vaccines really work. They are not magical force fields with the power of the 'The Force'. They are very effective - if they are actually deployed properly.

That's why we don't have smallpox outbreaks all over. And the shorter the time infections last, when it can incubate in people, the less chance for mutations into the next goddam Covid 13 that has all the features you've grown to love, but now has a bigger 4K screen with predictive misinformation text! Shorten the time, Shorten the Load. Dude, that is the only weapon we have in the arsenal. The choice is using it, or do you want to live with this forever? Do you want to watch older people in your life die of it? Younger people, too? You, when you got it for the fifth time? When you got the Zeus variant?

The alternative of 'doing nothing' just kind of strikes me like the 'Somebody Else' argument.
