But, Nah. Your narrative. It's an indictment of the team that drafted him. All teams didn't draft him. As far as we know the other teams may have had him much lower.
What I do agree with you is that every year teams (and fans) and draft mockers put some of these QBs higher then they should. Every year is not a good year for every position. The top guy, Baker Mayfield, has been better lately, but excuse me if I'm not on that bandwagon. Darnold, the 3rd pick, also got replaced and the team that drafted him just took another QB (by the 2021 3rd pick). That year's QBs leave a lot to be desired. If it were not for Josh Allen, I would term it terrible. Lamar Jackson has been celebrated, but I still don't know if he is a runner or a passer. I like QBs who can pass first and if everything is locked up, can get a first down (move the sticks).
BTW, the 2022 potential QB draftees seem closer to Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield lite, then anyone that would be an improvement over Goff. Soooooooo 2023 then
