    • I totally agree that there should be an upper age limit for potus!! WTAF, cap that shit at 72 ffs. BUT… if I have to choose between 2 ancient white men, I will take Biden allllll day every day. The list of accomplishments of this administration is lengthy and impressive no matter who deserves credit for it. I’ve always been an independent/moderate voter that leans left, but the GOP has gone so far off the rails that it is downright terrifying, and all of the decent, moderate Republicans with actual principles and integrity are running for the hills - it’s troubling to say the least. And making it harder and harder to consider myself an independent voter anymore - but I’ll be damned if I join a political party. Gross.

Age in and of itself doesn't mean mentally infirmity.

        Bernie Sanders is 82
        Joe Biden is 81
        Donald Trump is 77

Out of the three Bernie is the oldest and no one thinks he suffers from any mental impairments

The only person Biden could beat is Trump. Generic Republican beats him like a red headed stepchild. Same thing with Trump generic Democrat pimp slaps him all day and all night.

I will not vote for Trump.

But I am finding it very very hard to vote for Biden. The US is cosigning everything that is going on with Gaza.We are giving money and weapons without conditions on what is a slow grinding genocide of the Palestinians, How hard is it for Biden to say this:

We are Israel's friend but we cannot give money and weapons for what they are doing in Gaza. What happened on 10/7 was a horrible act of terrorism but that does not justify the actions that Israel has taken. The UN is not Hamas. The overwhelming majority of the Palestinians are not Hamas. These actions Israel takes do not make them safer.

Instead, the Biden administration shows no strength and begs like Oliver Twist for more porriage when it comes to Israel.

I can't think of one policy since withdrawing from Afghanistan (which was way way overdue) that Biden has really fought for. When SCOTUS slapped him down on student loans. Biden decided to use HEA to do student loan forgiveness. Which was what he should have used from the start.

He should have said---I am directing the Education Secetary to implement student loan forgiveness like we just proposed. The federal govt. holds 92% of the student loan debt in this country. And the federal govt. can decide what we want to do with it.

Instead, they went the rule making route and instead of helping 43 million Americans, experts now say it might help 4-6 million people.

The Biden administration has been a reflection of the president. Biden has always been an indecisive, slow moving, micromanager.

He has a backbone, but he doesn't have the killer instinct that is sometimes needed in politics. TBF, it took the DNC putting their thumb on the scale in 2016. And President Obama pulling the strings behind the scenes to deny him in 2020.

With Bernie, unlike a lot of national politicians, he has fought for the same causes for decades. You know where he stands.

                  • I'd vote for Bernie! He's just the opposite end of Trump but both are more for the everypeople and not shills for the establishment. When he says he'd tax everyone who makes over 400,000, it's not just b.s. politicos.

                      • It’s not even wasting an argument over a man so irrelevant as Bernie Sanders.
Him and his wife have gotten rich off the political system that he ridicules.

Biden's list of accomplishments are long you are correct there. They are just all bad accomplishments. Record inflation, record illegal immigration, and at least 4 military conflicts we are now involved in. On top of all of that he ran on ending the division and unity. Lol the country has never been more divided.

Trump might be a bit of a loudmouth a-hole but at least he is transparent. And he didn't get us into 4 conflicts and closer than ever to WW3 or a civil war. I will take mean tweets over our current condition every single time.

That being said I will be glad when these ancient career politicians move on. Need some younger leaders with fresh ideas.

                          • No, Trump only promised to pull out of one conflict, then left his successor holding the bag.

He is "transparent" only through incompetence.

Trump's literally trying to crash bipartisan legislation on the border because he doesn't want the other side to get a win. But honestly, if you are looking at Biden as the driving force in dividing our country and not the guy running around giving speeches about poisoning the blood of our country and accusing anybody who isn't abjectly worshipful of him a disloyal traitor and enemy, then I don't know what to say.

                              • Biden is taking tough about the border now because it’s the biggest anchor on his re-election hopes. He wasn’t hawkish at all on the border when he took office.
