In a vacuum, yeah... the conservative claims that Biden has definitely lost a good deal of his mental sharpness compared to even 15 years ago is true. He's still quick and able enough to do the job, to be sure, but yes, he's not even at the same level he was when he was vice-president, much less when he was starting his political career.

Where their complaints fall flat, however, is that they hold Trump up as a conservative hero; the same dude who can barely manage three syllable words, and openly mused about shooting people up with UV light or bleach (both of which would be far more assuredly fatal, mind you) to treat COVID infections.

It becomes clear they don't really care all that much about mental stability (with some notable exceptions on this board), and that their arguments are nigh entirely in bad faith.

Up until 2020 or so, If you were to tell any general or commander that they would be able to pull out of a hostile country within 48 hours of a hostile government taking control and lose only 13 people doing so, they would have considered that a mind-boggling success. Especially if they were told that the deal had been negotiated by that Commander in Chief's predecessor.

That people like you are furious about it post 2020 says more about you than it does the current President.

But it was Biden who allowed Russia to put bounties on American troops. Er, whoops, that was Trump also.

Please no. I hope Trump doesn’t get the nomination. Only being able to run for one term does little for policy and Trump divides the nation. People love him or absolutely hate him and it just causes chaos

There’s no chance Biden could make it through another campaign. The physical and mental stress that a campaign puts on these people is too much. It would kill him and they certainly can’t lean on the VP. Her approval ratings are worse that his.

It was a disaster. Just admit it and move on. He left it with all the military equipment and some lives to boot. Biden was the one who stressed "one life lost to Covid means more than all the shutdowns". But soldiers and civilians left behind after the pullout. Not so much..
