Well there some truth to the both sides stuff. There is definitely a far left contingency that is just as batshit crazy as the right. The difference is that the right has almost completely given in to their lunatics while the left still has some walls up. The other difference is in the amount of racism in each sides ridiculous views. The right is winning that one handily. The left just wants too much good good for everyone with no reasonable plans on how to make it work.
I've definitely deleted leftist lunies that constantly sharing lies off of my social media, probably not as many as on the right but they definitely exist. Confirmation of bias is just so much easier to gobble up than truth.Comment

I definitely agree the majority of both sides types are that way. I'm certainly not but there are ways in which both sides are indeed awful. Things like flip-flopping views on things depending on if they are the ones doing it or their opponents. Sensational lies spread through social media, news programs with ridiculous bias. etc. Lies and shady backdoor policy are a shared evil.
The area in which they are most definitely not the same is in social constructs. The right is certainly far more hateful and regressive towards people's rights despite trying to sell themselves as champions of individual liberty. Liberty for all, except you, and you and probably you next if we manage to take away those other set of people's rights.
I find the left to be ridiculously out of touch with overcorrecting. You mustn't dare to speak on something in any way that could be deemed negative or you're a bigot. For example, not recognizing teen gender transitioning sometimes leads to problematic de-transitioning because you're afraid to be viewed as anti-trans. The reality is we have far more research to do on the subject. Total acceptance and Total denial both get in the way of that. The Hatred is certainly far more harmful but it's not like turning a blind eye to problem areas doesn't hurt as well.Comment

Those that want to take away religious freedoms from anyone not Christian. You could also with minimal effort find that more college educated people now identify as Democrats than Republicans.
